Oceans of blue!
Annie is doing well and they have added an additional feeding to her day (she now eats a very small amount of breast milk 3x a day). Today Elly was able to hold her for a while and she kept trying to open her eyes. One of the nurses figured out that she was bother by all the lights. We dimmed them and she spent quite a while open and closing her eyes and staring at her momma! Her sight is very poor at this stage in her developement but to see those beautiful blue eyes was so deeply touching. She's tiny but she's got spirit and spunk! Love to everyone, keep those prayers coming!

How lovely! I kept going "awww!" while reading it! I can't wait to see her beautiful little eyes! And don't worry, everyone else in the family has needed glasses, so she isn't alone! Thanks for the updates. It makes me feel like I'm there with you ladies-
Oh ANNIE!!!!!! The cameras love you because you are TOOOO CUTE and precious. Yet I am glad the lights could come down a bit so you can get your beauty rest! Congrats on eating! One of life's greatest treasures and joys. See you soon! Congrats that Elly came home and that Luke can enjoy his Mama too :)
Love, Susie
Just what a developping digestive system needs - incentive! As for the bright lights, keep in mind that the big, oversize "bug" sunglasses are all the rage again this summer...I'm sure Kit or Gran could find some stylish pink ones down at the Fabulous place in the Village (I mean, why should one wait to be fabulous?)
Welcome to the world, Little Annie girl! What a tiny bundle of joy to the whole family. And blue eyes --awwww is right!
All our love,
Cousin Barb and family
All our love and bigs hugs to Annie and Elly.

What a beautiful little one Elly! I am thinking about you all and sending good wishes to you and your family.
