Elly came in today and the flapper hat is back! Turns out there is a nurse who makes them for the babies and, much like a "Flapper Elf" if you will, creeps in during the night and puts them on all the cutie girl babies (sorry, guys). Elly met the nurse today and will have to track her down with her camera to get some photographic evidence.
Annie passed her eye exam yesterday (because she was so early we will need to routinely check her eyes) and will be scheduled for take 2 of her pneumogram on Sunday. Her weight gain is slowing down a bit so she is having more calories and fat added to her milk. That being said, she is just shy of 5 lbs! Tune in tomorrow for more photos of the staff!

Okaaay, the hat is back and Gran has finally finished Annie's afghan. Looks like Annie is getting ready to roll. The going home outfit is shaping up!
if only all babies knew the joy of waking up in a 1920s period outfit! hooray for the return of the hat! good luck on your next test Annie! study hard!
Hey, hey, hey, the hat is back!! (There must be a melody for that out there somewhere...) And mucho thanks for the photos of the wonderful staff that those of us out here in Michigan will probably never get to meet - but we send our many, many and deep thanks for taking care of "our" Annie from out here in Go-Blue-land! I'm sure Annie will do fine on her eye test, tho' she'll no doubt one day wind up needing glasses like everyone else she's related to - welcome to the family, Annie, and sorry 'bout that! As for the breathing test, just take a deep breath and push on through, girl!
